This little butterfly used to be quite rare in the UK but is fortunately now staging something of a comeback .

Having recently retired from Dentistry and no longer being down in the mouth ( old dentists joke there ) I now have more time for painting . I love painting nature subjects and find Gouache or Acrylic enable me to capture the detail I seem to be addicted to .
